CRP Lavin

CRP Lavin was founded in the mid-nineties as a conference center for small, informal workshops in the Swiss mountains.

A lot of scientific progress can be made via personal contact, and intimate, small group, discussions. This is the motivation for the conferences and workshops in the CRP Lavin. The organiser of these conferences is Prof Dr. habil. Ruedi Stoop.

Inside the house Lavin is a picturesque farming village in the Swiss Alps. If you have never been there, no need to worry, because getting there is easy. And there is more than enough things to do in the area (as you rest your mind).

The conferences are usually held in Prof. Dr. R. Stoop's house in Lavin. The origins of this house dates back to at least the 14th century. Accommodation is usually provided by the hotels in the village.

It's worth having a look at the list of past conferences to get an inkling of the kind of work that has been done at Lavin, in the past.
