This conference is organized on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Ruedi Stoop. The workshop will take place August 24 - August 29, 2012, in a relaxed atmosphere in the famous Engadina Valley.

The aim of this workshop is to bring together renowned scientists in the field, leaving enough time and opportunity for fruitful discussions among the participants.

Participation is by invitation only.

The contributions in form of short oral presentations are expected to be from the fields of theoretical physics, applied mathematics, biophysics and electronics.

Further details about accommodation, conference fee etc. will follow soon. The location is in the midst of a beautiful mountain area, offering the possibility for an extension of the stay.
